UX Max, After replacing a bulb through troubleshooting a UV alarm and found the alarm was still triggered due to a higher than usual turbidity passing through (about 0.50 NU). This was resolved by flushing a recent copper pipe repair before the UV. I assume after flushing the repair section, it washed out some flux. My question, are there any specs on what turbidity level will trigger a sensor alarm (provided the bulb or sensor are not the issue.)?

A:
According to the Manufacturer, the Turbidity should be less than 1 NTU however the sensor primarily measures Ultra Violet Transmittance (UVT). This means there was likely another factor in the water which compounded with the Turbidity to cause the alarm. It could be something where there is low level colouring or cloudiness which mixed with the Turbidity sent it just above the sensor limit.
