Q:
How often should I change the sleeve if i"m changing the uv bulb annually? Bulb is a RL820 Blackcomb. The whole well system is about 3 yrs old and the uv system is 2 yrs old this month. Thank you

A:
The quartz sleeve should be cleaned with every service and replace every three years assuming that there is no visible scratches, pitting or damage visible on the sleeve. The three year replacement is a at the recommendation of the manufacturer and is a good practice to ensure that the system is working correctly.
