Amazing care

The product in itself is just a replacement part, it came exactly as I'd hoped and was the correct fitment. What I find so impressive however is the packaging. They take such great pride in making sure that when you order a part that your whole house and family depends on for clean drinking water, you receive it undamaged THE FIRST TIME. This is such an easy part to have broken upon arrival, however it comes in 3 different cardboard boxes and tubes, multiple bubble wrapping layers, foam and even protective wrapping. Could not be more pleased with ordering from this company, and they even had it in stock when none of my local suppliers in the province could get their hands on it soon. Thank you wahlwater

Q: I had trouble removing the sleeve and had to rotate it to release, sleeve was chipped and broken near top. A small spring came out when I turn unit upside down to discard broken glass. I am baffed as to how one reinstalls the spring. Any ideas?

A: Hello Joe,

Thank you for your inquiry. You will require a new sleeve, however the spring re-installation is relatively simple. The purpose of the spring is to apply back-pressure on the lamp so that it doesn't drop to the bottom of the sleeve.

To reinstall the spring, simply drop the spring in a vertical position to the bottom of the sleeve. When you insert your lamp after the sleeve is re-installed, the lamp will sit on the spring to provide the back pressure it requires to function. As long as the spring is sitting vertically in the bottom of the sleeve, you're good to go.
