Q: I would be using this tank at our cottage which is unheated through the winter. If the tank is drained in the Fall, is there any problem with the tank lining due to extremely cold (-30C) freezing temperatures?

A: As long as the tank is completely drained there should not be any issue with freezing. The top Diaphragm is made from 100% Butyl Rubber which can withstand extreme high and low temperatures and does not break down due to Freezing. It would be recommended to make sure the tank is warmed to 0°C before filling to reduce stress if arriving mid-winter.

A: Currently there are no Tank Jackets for this size of pressure tank. It is our recommendation to place a protective tray beneath the tank to capture water and prevent damage. As Tank Jackets become available, they will be added to the product as an option for purchase.

A: The WR80R pressure tank has a diameter of 16 inches and height of 29 inches.

Q: I currently have a WR60R pressure tank with a 40/60 switch and I am thinking about replacing it with a bigger tank like the WR80R any issues increase to this size?

A: Increasing to the WR80R is not an issue as the inlet size is the same size as the WR60R. The tank comes with a pre-charge air pressure of 38 psi which is calibrated for a 40/60 psi pressure switch. Increasing the pressure tank size will result in more consistent water pressure as well as less frequent water pump start and stops.

A: Salt is not used within a Pressure Tank. Could you please clarify wat you are referring to?
