Q:
Does this kit require an air injection hose to fit on the 1/4" barb end? Also vaccum breaker VR801 is recommended. Where did this plumb into? Bottom tank inlet? Thanks Chris

A:
The Vacuum breaker would be on the inlet to ensure the tank doesn’t suck in and burst and stops water from going backwards. You do not need a tube hooked up to the barb.
